The Economic Development Association
(EDA) has been hard at work this year publishing their Business
Primer. The Primer is a must have for locating all your local
city/state, private and public economic development agencies. Come check
it out.
Business Financing
The EDA provides business counseling and
loan processing assistance for a number of business load programs available
through our One-Stop shop and this site. Find the loan that's right for
you! We have packages ranging from Small Business Administration
loans to our "Revolving Loan Fund".
Business Advocacy
Find links to other local economic development agencies such as the Greater
Stockton Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center and the
San Joaquin Partnership as well as other local chambers and economic development
associations, state and federal business resources from here.
Business Retention
The mission of the Business Retention and Expansion Program (BREP) is to provide
asistance to businesses who are looking for resources to either continue to
do business in San Joaquin County or who want to expand their businesses here.
Enterprise Zone
The Stockton-San Joaquin Enterprise Zone offers business incentives such as
vouchers, permit assistance and other programs for either existing businesses
or businesses considering locating in this very large geographic area in San
Joaquin County.
